1966 Austin-Healey 3000 Convertible

The “Big Healey” has always been the affordable sportscar that has never gone out of style. This is the next to the last year for the BJ8 and retains the classic lines that define the word sportscar. The brainchild of Donald Healey, this particular 3000, has been maintained by Lea Francis West Palm Beach and has a “suitcase” of records and receipts of what all has been done to restore and then maintain. Finished in what I refer to as Healey blue with blue leather, blue cloth top, and blue tonneau cover. Mechanically this Healey is very well sorted and performs extremely well. Cosmetically this has a patina that befits a paint job that was done years ago, complete with some blemishes and scratches. Unless you are a perfectionist, this Healey is absolutely more than presentable as it sits. While the dash shows as a radio delete, it is in the trunk. The previous owner wanted to hear the Healey,  not the music! With just 16,322 produced from 1964 thru 1967, it remains extremely collectible and, more importantly, durable enough to enjoy regularly. Healeys are not meant to be Garage art…even tho they are!
