1962 Austin Healey 3000 Roadster

This comes to us via Lea Francis, Automotive Archeologist, who has taken care of it since 2006, so extensive records accompany it along with extra useful bits and pieces!

New interior, red with grey piping, 09/2013, cylinder head valve and manifold ported and polished, machined by Dennis Welsh, aluminum exhaust headers installed 09/2013, alternator replaced the generator and oil cooler 9/2013, 3.55 rear axle gears installed 4/2016, five chrome wire wheels and wide white tires 04/2016, rebuilt speedometer 05/2016, rebuilt HD8 (2 inch) SU carburetors by Joe Curto (Premier SU Specialist), new battery 09/22, new radiator 09/22 … and more!

It has a very unique rear wind wing designed by a Healey enthusiast, is finished in white with the aforementioned red interior, tan soft top, red tonneau, sliding plexiglass windows, and various other goodies! The paint over all is very good with the exception of a small portion on the front hood area. It runs extremely well, starts instantly, and the roadster look is my favorite of the Big Healeys!
